For Huttenfestival.nl Bureau Detours participate with Fabriek te Kraak (Factory for occupation). The factory will be built in only three days, and then Bureau Detours wishes to demonstrate the life cycle of factory areas in the city during the last three days of the Huttenfestival:
First day: factory is alive and produces furniture.
Second day: the factory is empty and abandoned, perhaps it is moved to Eastern Europe or Asia? The factory will be occupied by young artists who alone sees opportunities in the empty building.
Third day: the factory is designed for new creative industries, like the Creative Class Cafe, smart people, chillout music and Dennis Design Center exhibits new furniture.
